Waxahachie Gingerbread Trail

Reddington House, one of the beautifully restored homes in Waxahachie

Take your group on a leisurely day trip to the charming town of Waxahachie, scene of numerous movies shot in this picturesque reminder of the glory days of the Texas small town, 1880-1920.

You will tour the private homes open this year on the GINGERBREAD TRAIL, which is sponsored by the Ellis County Museum. These homes are wonderfully romantic Victorian, Queen Anne and Prairie creations.

Your group will travel by luxury motor coach, and lunch in a local café is included.

The famed Ellis County Courthouse, beloved by many who think it is the best in Texas, has recently been completely refurbished, and is receiving visitors and showing off her charming style. It is unquestionably one of the most interesting examples of the Romanesque architectural style that was so popular during the turn of the Twentieth Century.
