The Best Little Courthouses in Texas!
Dallas and Fort Worth
One day tour

Texas is blessed with the nation’s best collection of 19th and 20th century courthouses, colorful and interesting monuments to democracy on a local level.
Dallas and Tarrant Counties (Fort Worth) possess two of the best in the State, especially now that Dallas finished the long-awaited restoration of their building, and has returned the grand tower to the top of the building. For the first time since it was removed in 1919, the Dallas County Courthouse looks as it was meant to be, with an imposing Romanesque tower perched on top, completing the imposing temple of justice.
Your tour will be lead by popular author, storyteller and comedienne Rose-Mary Rumbley. Rose-Mary, one of the most popular speakers in Texas, is working on a history of Dallas County as told by the wyverns perched atop the courthouse.
Be the first on your block to see “OLD RED” as she was designed to be…with a tower on top!
Being sensitive to the fact that we live in the bi-polar Metroplex, we will also tour the already redone Tarrant County Courthouse in Ft Worth. That means you will be able to have lunch on-your-own at one of the many excellent restaurants of your choosing in the Fort Worth Stockyards.
