The delightful Richardsonian Romanesque Wise County Courthouse
The Best Little Courthouses in Texas!
Denton and Decatur
One day tour
Texas is blessed with the nation’s best collection of 19th and 20th century courthouses, colorful and
interesting monuments to democracy on a local level.
Denton County (Denton) has recently restored their magnificent edifice to its Renaissance Revival
glory, and opened a museum of local history and culture to perpetuate the legacy of the County. Wise
County (Decatur) boasts one of the most impressive public structures in Texas, well worth seeing and photographing.
What would a visit to a small Texas town be without checking out the antique stores around
the square. Both these cities contain squares full of vibrant stores and cafes. We have set aside
time for you to enjoy all of that in both towns. Don't forget your checkbook and credit card.
Sure you've seen courthouses before, but you haven't seen them like this!
About Your Guide
Your tour will be led by ROSE-MARY RUMBLEY, reputed to be Dallas’ most sought after speaker.

Tatum and Ryan O’Neal, and in several TV productions. She has acted with John Davidson, Ginger Rogers,
